Anyone feeling buyers remorse about Obama yet?

More likely it was a nutria. But wha’evs.

Nutria season!

A killer nutria.

Brilliant on so many levels.

(golf clap)

Hell, Bush would have called in an air strike!

And the poor guy didn’t even have a holy hand grenade - had to make do with a paddle.

At least he wasn’t up Nutria Creek without a paddle…

I wouldn’t argue, necessarily with generally calling Carville a “leftie,” except that he’s really more of a DLC-type guy. But in your limited worldview, I’ll accept “leftie” as sufficiently nuanced.

However, you’re making yourself (no surprise) look like a moron by pointing at him as some kind of Obama supporter who has come to have remorse for his decision.

Here are a couple of points:

http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/sandiego/access/1452218531.html?dids=1452218531:1452218531&FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:FT&type=current&date=Mar+25%2C+2008&author=Anonymous&pub=The+San+Diego+Union+-+Tribune&desc=In+the+gutter+|+It’s+getting+uglier+in+Democratic+campaign&pqatl=google

The guy was no fan of Obama’s, and probably still holds a grudge against him. He’s also very much an insider political type who’s married to a right-winger, and reputedly gave her (while she was a Bush campaign insider) tips about John Kerry’s strategy to contest ballots in 2004.

Not that I mind you looking like an idiot - there’s nothing that can stop that, and I wonder where your length of barbed wire is - but at least you ought to have some sense as to why you look so stupid.

Maybe it was a mutant cross between a nutria and a rabbit, a nutbit?

Or maybe it was an early form of Carville Chupacabra? Ooh, scary!

[sub]I didn’t expect my pointless drive-by comment to get that much attention, I love you guys![/sub]

Not just that. Though in my experience a conservative conservationist firmly believes in conserving anything that can be shot or strip mined.

Whew! That’s a relief!

Nope. Not so. Merely pointed to him as one of several lefties expressing disappointment with Obama.

But…but…what about Spike Lee and Whoopie Goldberg and…

Well, you get the idea. Carville is hardly the only leftie expressing doubts about Obama.

Reportedly? Reportedly?? Hah! I have a life-sized picture of the screams of “CITE!!!” that I’d be met with if I were to make such a comment.

Still, it wouldn’t surprise me if he did. Laying the groundwork for Hillary in 2008 most likely.

Yeah, yeah, yeah…“idiot”, “moron”, “knuckkle-dragging mouth-breather”, etc., etc., etc. You douchebags throw those words around like confetti. Ever wonder what I’m swatting at with all that barbed wire?

I had remorse when it appeared he would not get health care through. But when he got some kind of health care passed , I felt better. He is working on financial regulation. It appears to be suffering from the money and government pressure the bankers are exerting. I wait to see what comes out. If it is a watered down bill that allows the bankers to make casinos out of the deposits, I will be disappointed. If he actually achieves a good bill , I will be pleased.

I’m certain that your approval will mean a lot to him, gonzo.

Starving Artist quoting Spike Lee? Rabbits and nutria cohabiting! Glen Beck saying something clever! End of world, etc.

The Mayans were pretty close.

What “doubts” have they expressed?

No, I haven’t wondered at all. It’s because you are retarded.

Well, to be fair, we don’t generally need to use them so much except when we’re around you and your particular ilk. There are plenty of intelligent conservatives (despite what I say when I tease Plan B) whom I strongly disagree with but have never felt the slightest temptation to call an “idiot” or a “moron”.

For, er, certain conservatives, on the other hand, no other words are adequate.

There isn’t a conservative on this board who hasn’t been called the same stupid insults that I have, and with a fair amount of regularity. Insulting or questioning the intelligence of conservatives has been de riguer for the left since at least the turn of the twentieth century. Still, it isn’t us who came up with the brilliant idea of passing kids who would otherwise fail because to fail them would harm their “self-esteem”. It wasn’t us who insisted on building housing projects that became cesspools of hopelessness and crime. It wasn’t us who glommed onto drugs like they were manna from heaven. It wasn’t us who created the type of society where 25% of high school girls have STDs or pregnancy rates as high as one in every seven girls, as was the case with Robeson high school in Chicago. It wasn’t us who insisted on turning murderers and other miscreants loose on society long before their terms expired and which resulting in the three-strikes laws that even I agree can be ridiculous. It wasn’t us who decided that people didn’t need a “piece of paper” to legitimize their love and live together, resulting in millions of single-parent homes and latchkey kids raising themselves to live lives of deprivation and crime. It wasn’t us who…

Well, I could go on for pages but you get the idea. The only question is how much more liberal intelligence this country can withstand.

Hey, kids, it’s the Starving Artist show! Yay!

Oh, wait, I’ve seen this one. Damn reruns! :frowning:

You’re a douchenozzle. Sam Stone and UncleBeer, on the other hand? Two people who I sometimes (frequently) disagree with. Neither are douchenozzles.

By the way, I still haven’t seen Plan B explain why he blamed Clinton for economic problems in 2002, while Bush isn’t on the hook in 2010. Did I miss it, or is it just business as usual?

And those that would call them douchenozzles simply because they’re conservative are no better than…well, no better than Starving Artist, really.

OK, we get it. Everything bad, everything that has ever gone wrong, ever, is the sole fault of the Liberal Douchebags.

Uh huh.

How’s that working for you?
