Anyone flown Transaero Air before? Experiences, good or bad? Opinion? Sorta need answers fast, have a great deal pending, but I want to know more before I commit.
Any particular concerns? I’ve flown with Transaero multiple times on short (less than five hours) flights and never had a problem.
You might want to check for reviews and arrival/ departure airports/terminals for the specific route you’re thinking of booking.
I did, but it was nearly 20 years ago now. They were perfectly fine.
It seems like the reviews for the short hops are OK, but those for longer flights like I’m going to take (Tel Aviv - Moscow - JFK and back) are really not encouraging. Lots of complaints about rude service, cabin crew that speaks no English, disgusting bathrooms, entertainment systems that won’t work, having to claim luggage in Moscow and re-check in . . . I’m wondering if it’s worth the price.
Wow, their web site kind of sucks. Keeps reverting back to Russian even when I pick English.
Oh well, no credit cards accepted. They want bank transfer, Paypal, or Western Union only. I guess I’m out of luck.
