And if so, did it work for you? Did it at the very least allow you to keep the amount of hair that you had when you started? What can I expect?
And can i mix into my shampoo, or do I need to use it separately? How do I even use it? Like a shampoo?

You cannot mix it in your shampoo. To use it, you completely dry your scalp, put 3 or however many drops on your head, then rub it in.
I used it for about a year. I concluded that it was a huge waste of money that gave me very bad dandruff. It did not regrow enough hair to make it worth the expense.
One of my mum’s friends is on it. He’s about as bald as Bruce Willis. Quite frankly, thanks to people like Willis, and Vin Deisel, being bald isn’t quite what is used to be. Just shave the rest to stubble and you’ll look fine and save all the money you would have blown on medication that doesn’t work very well.
I almost tried it, but it appears to not work on a receding hairline, but on the bald-spot area. I’m getting the “Eddie Munster” widow peak thing, which if I read the Rogaine box properly, wouldn’t be helped.
I didn’t care enough to look into other solutions.
Well, crap. Me too. Although the crown of my head’s starting to fade away too. What I’m picturing is going to happen is that i get a bald circle encircling an island of hair in the front.
The box is a little misleading. Rogaine can’t advertise that it works on receding hairlines 'cause they only got FDA approval for the crown of the head (I think it was the only place they tested). There’s no reason to suppose it wouldn’t work as well (or poorly) on the hairline as on the back of the head.
I tried it for six months. It seemed to promote dandruff and decrease the bank account. No hair growth.
