I believe Paul in Saudi lives in Jeddah. The hostage in question is from Riyadh.
And since he posted this morning, I don’t think that’s him, unless his captors are giving him internet access.
Not impossible. I believe that Internet access (min. 725 Kbps) is guaranteed under the Geneva Convention: Millenium Edition.
Well, Paul in Saudi last posted on Sunday, and this guy was reported missing on Saturday. So I think he’s ok.
Though it’s not “our” Paul who has been taken hostage, I imagine that I’m not the only Doper who’d be very happy if he got the heck out of that forsaken place.
Thoughts with the family of the man who was kidnapped, and with Paul in Saudi. It’s a scary, scary time.
I was thinking the same thing watching the news reports this morning. But since the guy in the pictures wasn’t wearing a fez, I assumed it wasn’t our Paul.
Still, I am keeping the missing Paul in my thoughts and hoping that he is soon returned safely to his family.
