I haven’t watched it for years; maybe back in 1981 or something, when it came on after the local news and someone was too lazy to change the channel. ET Canada: triple blech.
Yes, I have. It was in a cinema back in 1982.
Do a search for a poster named lekatt, and if you have time, I believe he mentions seeing an alien peeking through his window or something.
Or through his underwear. If not, the undies will appear next week.
When this show first came out (early 80’s I think), I’d sometimes have it running in the background. They’d say “ET next will visit Waikiki Beach!” and I’d think, “I hope he remembered to put on his sun block.”
Does meteorites count as extraterrestrial?
There’s another poster whose name I’m blanking on, but it’s something with “Blue Jeans” in it if memory serves. He claimed to have been abducted by aliens at some point.

It’s all right, I guess, but I think it appealed to me a lot more at age 6. No real desire to rewatch it now. Drew Barrymore sure was cute back then, wasn’t she?

There was a trivia point about that in the Charlie’s Angels movie. Drew fell out of a high window, down a hill, and into a backyard – the backyard of the same house where she had once taught ET to speak English.
