Anyone here tried Jones brand soda?

I love Jones Soda. I alternate between the Berry Lemonade, Cream Soda, and Lemon Drop. I usually buy them at either Target or Jewel Osco in these parts.

The Halloween ones I’ve tried were Caramel Apple (good!) and Candy Corn (battery acid!).

I’ve tried two years worth of the holiday packs and I can tell you that they are wrong wrong wrong! So awful. Last year I also tried the holiday dessert pack. The only one I liked from there was Key Lime Pie, but there is already a Key Lime Pie soda I get at Potbelly that is better.

Just an FYI, if you mix the Turkey soda with the Dinner Roll soda, it does NOT taste like a turkey sandwich.

Do you guys have a Panera around there? I think Panera has had Jones soda for years now. Up in Michigan I used to see them at the BD’s Mongolian Barbecue on every table.

I don’t know about your areas, but here in Tennessee at WalMart they sell 8-packs of 12 oz. cans of Jones sodas for $2.50 each. That comes down to being cheaper than Coke, by a long shot.

I would like them all a bit more if I could find an actual cola flavored one.

Jones blueberry-pomegranate soda is a blessing to those of us who are too young for blueberry-pomegranate Peels malt beverage, and too broke/cheap for real blueberry-pomegranate juice.

What I love most about Jones, though, is that they’re the soda providers for Seahawks football and other events at Qwest Field or Stadium or whatever it’s called.

Okay, that’s a lie, I love Fufu Berry floats more.

Ah Jones Soda, the only Turkey and Gravy flavored soft drink ever produced. (special around Thanksgiving). Great stuff!

I feel as if someone came in here and said “Have you tried this new drink Pepsi? It’s great!”.

Jones Soda is WONDERFUL and I’ve been drinking it for years;lol. Glad to see you found it too! My only complaint is that it tends to be REAL expensive when based on the other drinks of size at a Wal-Mart or a gas station. Other than that, it’s all wonderful.

have you tried Hansen’s? I think it is widely available and not as expensive as Jones. i get it for about $2.25 a six-pack.

ETA: Why do I get the idea that someone’s stock is tanking?

I don’t remember seeing it, but I’ll look for it next time I go to the store.

Panera Bread carries them.

VCNJ~

I’ve tried a LOT of the gourmet sodas out there, (Jones, Hansen’s, Boylan’s, IBC, Killebrew, Stewart’s, Tommy Knocker, Dr. Browns, Henry Weinhards, etc.) but I still always come back to Sprecher sodas. Smooth, mellow, sweet. Sweetened with honey and vanilla.

I agree; Jones soda is awesome.

I’ve been drinking Boylan’s lately, though. Their root beer is fantastic.

I guess a lot of you have had it available for years and years, but the first time I ever saw it was two Saturdays ago. We’re familiar with the “boutique” soda section at the supermarket. We’ve had IBC and Stewart’s and one or two others, but they don’t seem to have had any Jones. I found it in a store about 30 miles out of town.

The reason why we hadn’t noticed it at Target or Wal-mart is because I don’t think we’ve ever seen soft drinks on sale there, so we never go down the drink aisle anymore. It’s always like $4.39 for a 12-pack, when at the gas station down the street it’s 3 12-packs for $9, or 4 for 10.

They have it on my campus in the food service areas. I think I’ve also seen it in delis.

Anybody here tried Henry Weinhardt’s creamy root beer? It has vanilla and a bit of honey in it as well, I think.

Are you saying that you are buying Jones soda in cans at those prices?

No, Coke and/or Coke 1. Walgreens and CVS seem to alternate which one is on sale from week to week - Coke or Pepsi products.

My girlfriend’s teenage son turned me on to Jones soda a few weeks ago. Great stuff but too expensive.

I adore Henry Weinhard’s (no “t”)! My parents would always get them for my brother and me for parties- since all the adults would get fancy microbrews, the kids got the soft drink equivalent. But I find that if I take off the nostalgia, I don’t like the flavor as much as other root beers. It’s too mellow- I think the vanilla and honey is too dominant.

My wife found a 12-pack of Cream Soda in cans, small cans of Candy Corn, plus the red and black licorice flavors (4-pack bottles) yesterday. I haven’t tried the red one yet, but the black flavor is only OK. It has to be really cold, and you have to drink it rather quickly, because as it warms up, it tastes rather like cough syrup. I don’t think we’ll get that flavor again…
