anyone identify the name of this film??

Hi all,
i was watching tv late the other night and a film was on. I only caught some of the film and missed the title but perhaps someone can tell me the name of it from my description.

[SPOILER ALERT PERHAPS…]
It has a nerdy black guy who is learning spanish from a tape on a roadtrip with a french guy.
the nerdy black guy is in love with an hispanic girl but is due to attend his arranged marriage in a couple of days. The hispanic girl is also on a trip travelling around with her irritating english lecturer boyfriend.
Don’t know the names of any of the actors, it was made i’d say in the last 3 years by the sounds of the soundtrack,
anyone know what its called???

it was on a few weeks ago now ruadh , don’t remember which night, but it was on channel 4, probably a saturday night or sunday night if i was up that late. ah it doesn’t matter that much, but twas a great film.

I think it was called Night of the 20’s Style “Death Rays.”

got it, twas called Jump Tomorrow , found one of the actors on IMDB by accident then followed the trail. i recommend it to any and everyone. tis byoutiful
