Sheesh!! See what happens when you suddenly decide to start having a life. Two days of debauchery in sunny Utrecht because our Queen Mother has her birthday and suddenly this whole thread’s gone kablooey! But, fear not my fine friends, Aghris hast returned and is here to stay. 
Good to see so many people interested in this RPG, but I hope I didn’t ruin it for myself. It seems the time to sign up for this game has past and I didn’t even get a chance. Not fair! Can I please be excused for this one Arden? Verrain?? It wasn’t my fault that I was drunk and wore boa feathers all yesterday evening and did not have time to post!! 
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have tons of posts to read and lots more links to follow. Be back in a jiffy…

No pictures were taken Arden, which was a good idea at the time in retrospect Suffice to say that it was not a pretty sight (or so I am told).
Well, read all the posts in this thread and the pages you wrote Arden, and I’m glad that things are getting into shape. I have two ideas for a character and I will email you an overview on both of them so you can give an opinion on which is better suited.
I don’t think that’s a good idea, Kat. Lots of people here a fairly new to the RPG genre or have only played one system or so. People would get innundated if we expose them to too many different types of RPGs at once.
I think what I wanted to start was a sort of a online community where people take turns in running a different type of RPG. This time Arden will run Amber, when she’s fed up with it I’m happy to run a game of In Nomine for those interested, and when I’m done Jeff can maybe run a Star Wars game. There are hundreds of good RPGs out there, so this way we all can find out a bit about other systems.
I’d be willing to run a 3rd Edition D&D game - in fact, I have been working on a campaign setting of my own but haven’t been able to get my fellow gamers to give it a try yet.
I’ve been working on a character… I just had a hard time decided between the narscissitic dumb blonde (who only seems dumb) and the farm/city (I get into it in my back story) girl who is cool and aloof… right now I’m going for the blonde… I’ll email you with my stats and see if they’ll be okay… and I’m trying to think up an artifact or something that might be interesting and go with her…
Ooo… go with the dumb blonde! You can be “The Pretty One” [not that all Amberites are stunningly gorgeous. :)] I may even have the perfect image for that one.

OK, I think once we’re done with Don’t Touch Anything, I can run a Star Wars game (An Empty Victory). I’ll try to keep the dice rolling to a minimum, we can use the “dice” at irony.com when needed. While looking for Amber books at BDalton, I happened on a new edition of the SWRPG, $15 and appears to be set after Episode I.
I intend to run An Empty Victory with the original rules, but the new edition can be an option. I don’t have the new rules yet, but can get them.
You have plenty of time to plan, dear. I think DTA is going to take a little more than the summer to play. Of course, that all depends on you guys and how soon you get your characters done!
Now now, Arden. There are at least two of us who sent you a complete character, which isn’t bad for a whole bunch of beginning players who know nothing about the setting, is it? And you got people to buy the books, so I think your mission to further the cause that is Amber has got off to a good start.
And anyway, you did have finals first didn’t you?

I have one final on the 10th because I have 4.0s in my other classes and they have that nice “If you have a perfect A you don’t have to take the final” rule.

Nice to know I’m not the only one then… I’ll try to get to it but the way this week looks I don’t have any great amount of free time till Friday… I’ll try to squeeze ideas out between school, Guides and work though.
