There may be a slight delay in the start of the game, due to the fact Arden tried to install a scanner and fried her computer. With luck that will be cleared up soon and the game will commence. My life is a bit on the hectic side at present, so she will be the main GM for a while with me in cameo roles.

Oh and a little administrative note. From now on when sending a game related message, please place DTA: the title of it such as DTA: Pic of my character. As I am searching my mail for copies of stuff to send to Arden I realize how useful that would be.

I got email from RRKM last night saying he had been moving over the last week and had missed the deadline. Since he was one of the first people to sign up, I’d like to give him a chance to play.
This will also give Sealemon a chance to make a character.
Also, some folks didn’t CC Verrain with their character stuff so he doesn’t have it to send to me and those people will have to resubmit.
If that wasn’t enough, I have to reuild the database as well.
So, I’ll keep it open until the 18th.
Those of you that we do have stuff for we may be able to start backstories next week after my co-conspiritor and I have a pow-wow.

You would be wise to look up a servitor of Jean, the Archangel of Lightning, who can probably help you out. Either that, or see if Nybbas has some feud with you. That would explain a whole lot…

Shoot a description over to me, I might be able to find something. I started with just an idea and wound up with a pic of someone I hadn’t heard of. I could probably do the same for anyone else having trouble finding pictures on their own.
Kudos to Jeff for finding two pics that are pretty close to my character description.
Incidentally, if there’s anyone with a male character still looking for a picture, I have a couple I ran across in my searching that are pretty cool.
And when will I be getting one of these pics, hmmm?

Not to sound too harsh or anything, but we’ve been going at it for three weeks now and frankly, I’m getting a bit impatient. Why don’t we set a deadline for when we start playing and go on in the mean time? We’ve agreed that people should be fairly dedicated to the game, and having not heard from a player for so long does not seem to me like dedicated behaviour. He (she?) could at least emailed that it took a bit longer, right?
Ofcourse, there could be all sorts of reasons that Maeglin has been silent, but should we postpone our game for that? If he turns up before we start playing, then he can always join in, can’t he?
I realise that I’m not making friends here, but I also think that if we want a successful game, we need a little bit of commitment, right? Besides, I want to start playing!! ::instert whiny smiley here::
Now, now. To be fair he has submitted a character and we did set a deadline of the 18th for everything, so we will get started this weekend and we’re starting with the following characters:
Marc, Meri, Ramon, Rukh, Richard, Kevron, Thorn (who just won’t have a pic on the PC page that he picked out) and my daughter’s character (who’s name I don’t remember at the moment). Those are the characters I have. I hope I didn’t miss anybody.
There’s a $5.00 fine for whining, BTW. :p.
