Anyone know the age of this old booklet?

I received this in a box with other older cookbooks. Judging from the age of the others, I’d say it’s from between 1955 and 1975. Can anyone provide a more accurate date?

That’s probably closer to 1920. Rochester Gas had a series of booklets like this, and alas, they’re all undated. Companion to this one was “Party Cakes” and they also had “Eggs For Dinner” and I’m sure there were more, all designed to entice the happy homemaker to use more of that magical “city gas.”

They’re still in business, so if you write to them, they probably have a corporate historian who can better identify these.

The National Museum of Play catalogue dates it to the 1960s.

I was thinking the style of design looks like early '60s, which in fact is very reminiscent of the '20s.
Interesting!

Thanks everyone!
