My awareness of the NBA finals was pretty close to zero. Basketball is not a sport I follow. And if the SDMB is any guide, not many other people are following it either – one measly thread, compared to many long-running threads about football, baseball, and even the World Cup, which Americans ostensibly aren’t even interested in.
