Are there any Dopers who have an actual coin-operated arcade game? I’m hoping to buy one, and wonder if there is any advice to be had.
The two games I’d like to find are Tapper and Arkanoid. I’ve found a company that will sell me a Tapper, but I want to research this first.
I don’t personally own an arcade game, but I used to be a nanny for a very wealthy family and my former employer had five. They were really fun. He had them rigged so that all you had to do was push a button and you could play for a while. I believe that he got those off the internet for a pretty good price. They were especially great for me because they kept the kids busy for a while and it was like a mini vacation. I liked those a lot. 
A long time ago, I had the sit-down version of the original Donkey Kong. Actually it was my Uncle’s but I was staying w/him. It was cool for back then. I never got tired of lifting up the cover and clicking the little red “free credit” button.
To answer your question: No, I do not own an arcade game.
