Anyone wanna concede their most elite special forces are not the best in the world in some respect?

ASKANCE. What fantasy books have you been reading. Australia is an inconsequential part of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think your deluded if you think Australian special forces have been given any major responsibility. You guys just don’t have the necessary training and experience done by US and UK special ops. You need to be honest with yourself.

I think talking about how well an elite soldier would do in unarmed combat misses the point. Any time a soldier winds up in unarmed combat, somebody fucked up royally.

I would also guess that in terms of pure physicality, most special forces operatives are much of a muchness across the world. The winning unit is going to be the best trained and best equipped unit, and best motivated. I would therefore say that the Israeli and US forces are almost tied, with a slight edge to the Israelis.
