Anyone want to help try to identify some well-known actors in this obscure movie?

OK, here’s the deal: I have an old VHS movie, the cover of which indicates the lead actors. OK. Nothing unusual so far. The movie credits as they roll list 13 or so actors. One of the credited actors is very well-known by face, if not by name. One other has a very familiar face, but few would recall his name. All the other credited actors were generic grunts that 99% of the population (including me) would not recognize by name or face.

However, two of the actors appearing on the cover are not actually credited in the movie! The two actors did this movie *early in their careers, and appear as uncredited extras. They would later go on to much bigger successes than the lead actors.

So I suspect.

But I’ll be dog-gone if I can confidently place them. I’ve watched this movie twice, I have about a 40% confidence factor on one of the actors, and about a 20% on the other in the roles in which I think they appear. And this is most definitely not a case of an uncredited star cameo. If the box cover is accurate, they have to be background extras.

So. . . .

Would anyone care to take a bullet and watch my copy of this movie? Let me know.

*90% of you would immediately recognize by name and face, and very solid loooong careers on the big and small screens.

Sounds like fun, but why not just tell us the name of the movie, the stars you can identify, and the plot and character names (if necessary to help jog our memories)?

The actors: Judd Hirsch and Paul Sorvino
The movie: Fury on Wheels, of which I am the proud possessor of one of *19 surviving copies.

*OK, that’s an exaggeration, but don’t be looking for this on DVD anytime soon.

I’m confused… are you saying you don’t know who Judd Hirsch or Paul Sorvino are, or how to find out what other roles they’ve been in? How about Conrad Bain, for that matter?

Is it the two people on this cover poster?

Conrad Bain and Logan Ramsey are the two credited actors that have notable roles in the movie. No questions about them.

Sorvino and Hirsch (both unknowns at the time) are listed on the box, and not in the credits. Those are the actors I’m trying to place.

The two actors in the poster are Tom Ligon and Collin Wilcox-Horne/Paxton.
*Familiar character actor specializing in redneckish roles. Note the bio trivia about his father.

Meaning that you want to watch the movie and be able to say “Aha - there’s Judd Hirsch, he’s playing the waiter in the diner” or whatever?

Noooooo. I have a copy. I’ve already watched it. Twice.

I’m soliciting invitations for people to take 90 minutes out of their life that they’ll never get back and watch my copy to see if they can do any better at picking out Hirsch and Sorvino.

Maybe the box is a misprint- are they dressed in the style/manner of the movie?

Or maybe they are using those two in an underhanded way to trick people into buying the movie by implying they appear in the movie, when they really don’t.
Porn movies used to do this (put some hot chick on the box of a movie filled with not so hot chicks) until they got sued, IIRC.

IMDB has it under the title Jump.
They have Judd Hirsch listed in the cast but not Paul Sorvino. Then-unknowns Jack Nance and Sally Kirkland are also credited.
