Apparently Tartakovsky is working on a new season of Primal, according to the very end of this interview (mostly about Dexter’s Laboratory). Everything seemed to be wrapped up in the most recent season finale, so one wonders where the show will go from here. A new setting?
Yeah that definitely felt like a series finale. Hopefully the next season won’t be built off the weird Victorian episode.
UPDATE: apparently the third season of Primal will debut in January of next year, and there is a teaser trailer.

Still amazing animation. Willing to give the story a chance to grow. Not sure if it wouldn’t have been better to have not reanimated this show though.
Yeah that episode was a strange one. Curious to see where it goes.

I’m not sure that there is any intention for it to go anywhere, right now it is a vehicle for the animation. That may be enough.
FWIW it seems like this is shaping up to be a step by step journey to his becoming a real boy again.
Yeah this seems more a travelogue than a story so far but I am here for it.
