Sorry I missed the thread earlier. With the exception of the lone comic, everyone is spot on. Glad the appt got moved up. How did it go?
She didn’t say much about the appointment. I am now convinced she was adding some kind of medication that I don’t know about. Everything normal as of now.
Given your concerns (past Alzheimer’s research work on my side), I strongly suggest you should attend her appts with her. At least join a discussion with the dr, if not the exam. Alzheimer’s is NOT a self-manage disease. Patient’s with dementia often can’t accurately self report symptoms or progression. Many of the other possible issues warrant SO participation and awareness as well. (Stroke, etc.)
Are you comfortable discussing this with her?
