Anything else you motherfuckers need?

You should not. The poor should just go away and die quietly. When the poor get sick, they are so annoying.

You lied about your time employed/unemployed. Why should anyone believe you about this?

Really simply, since if you think no one has explained it your reading comprehension is not hot.

  1. You already do. Don’t you want the money you spend to be spent more wisely?

  2. You will not, do not, and cannot have the option, in our society, to stand around and watch the poor die. It’s not going to happen under any circumstances at all so, again, don’t you want to contribute ideas on how it should be fixed?

You who are simply whining about not wanting to pay for it are voluntarily cutting yourselves off from contributing ideas. Your side lost decades ago. You’re fighting a war that just makes you powerless and absurd. Your loss, of course, and your choice, but damn, people. Can’t you find it in yourselves to sell your ideas instead of kicking people in the teeth?

They don’t get half the jollies doing that as they do beating up on the most vulnerable people in our society.

Crickets chirping.

I keep trying to figure out why this line of questioning on your part infuriates me so, and I think I have.

I like Poly and I unreservedly hate you.

You have a small mind, and a black heart, if you would lower yourself to hate someone.

no u

I think people would be more inclined to answer your questions if you bothered to answer theirs. Ever.

Be that as it may, you can’t convince people to die for you by being someone they can’t stand.

I’m more than willing to put my reputation into the hands of my fellow Dopers if you really want to have some sort of poll as to which of us, you or me, has a small mind and a black heart. I’m quite confident as to the results.

Per the rundown of H.R. 3200, the healthcare bill now pending in the House, there is very very little chance that your taxes will be raised. The organization Citizens for Tax Justice put together a breakdown of how many households in each state would pay the surtax on high income that is called for the fund the H.R. 3200 proposals. (That’s not the CfTJ website, but it does show the chart CfTJ created, and there is a link to their full analysis, which is a pdf, from that page.)

The “everyone’s taxes are going to go up” meme is another of the intentionally inaccurate and inflammatory talking points being circulated by the insurance industry and their bought and paid for pet politicians. It doesn’t actually hold true when the numbers are run.

Your higher wage has nothing to do with merit on your part fuckstain, it has to do with inequities in pay scales.

It doesn’t matter how you slice it, you are dependent upon other people. Besides, if you were actually a Randian and ran your own business government healthcare would SAVE you money.

Why do you care about health insurance? Just get a job. If they have an insurance policy that will cover you, fine. If not, just ask your father to pay for the medication. What’s wrong with that?

The very fact that its your suggestion would give me pause.

What about the people who don’t have fathers?

‘Well if you’ve lost your father, you shan’t be allowed to have one!’

Weren’t you telling her to grow up and face the real world a few posts ago?

Well, I haven’t yet gotten a satisfactory explanation on how and why a completely free-market based system (or one that’s more so than the one we have now) would be significantly better for everyone besides “I wouldn’t be paying for anyone but myself.” In the alternative, I haven’t yet gotten a satisfactory explanation why that in itself is an acceptable answer, and why others, especially the poor, should accept it.

Then again, there’s been so much discussion on Guin that Lightnin’ (I believe it was) asked a poster the same question I asked several posts previous, and never noticed.

As I said, my posts make sense to those who do not jump to conclusions. I wasn’t equating tax payers to slaves.
