Anything else you motherfuckers need?

I’m not arguing about tax rates. Are you trying to say that one’s entire income tax would go to the proposed health care program? Because that’s the way your comment reads. Did you mean something else?

Caught in a lie, and it’s still not your fault. You’re a real work of art.

WHO GIVES A FUCK? Seriously, why are you so obsessed with Guin? It seems like you have a creepy, stalkerish girl crush. Get over it and stick to the topic. After all, it was you who said:

Apparently you do, in a really big way. So you’re a liar, too. You’ve also asked for a cite about employers denying coverage for pre-existing conditions, been given some, and since then, all you can do is slag off on Guin. Hmmm, interesting.

Go back under that bridge, Carol. It’s getting really old.

The elderly most likely and the vets definately contributed to society and therefore have earned whatever government coverage they can get.

You forgot the chronic welfare abusers, or the bazillion illegal aliens in my state alone. And those kids - why are their parents pumping out children they cannot afford? The answer is - because they know the government will pay for them and they “deserve” or “have the right” to have those kids when they want them, with no consideration if they can afford to raise them.

According to another poster on this board, it works pretty well.

Let me guess: Orange County? San Diego?

Oh gosh, it worked for one person during one time frame! Obviously it’s a grand idea.

And you’d be wrong, as you are in everything you post. I pay taxes on my earnings just like everyone else. Let’s say I didn’t though. Let’s say I payed 0%. How does this relate to the elderly, disabled, kids, and war veterans getting healthcare?

Remember, ad hominem fallacies are a piss poor debating technique.

Orange County. And?

It will, at the very least, remove the need for investigation into a patient’s entitlement to care.

Do you honestly think that? Seriously?

I don’t know why I bother providing cites, since you, like Carol Stream, neither read them nor give a fuck about facts, but you’re wrong about the illegal aliens. The only government funded care they are eligible for is Medicaid for ER bills.

Now, are you saying that hospitals should just turn away people who come in with real emergent medical issues because they are illegal immigrants? Just let them bleed to death or whatever? Since that’s the only benefit they are able to access, I’m wondering what you think hospitals should do differently.

This is irrelevant. We all know what you think of poor children. However, like with illegal immigrants who are urgently ill, society as a whole believes that children should receive medical care, whether their parents are irresponsible, shiftless losers or not. Most people think that is the humane way to deal with the situation. Aside from “A Modest Proposal,” what would you suggest for the children who, through no fault of their own, are born to parents who cannot afford or are not eligible for insurance? Seriously, forget about their parents what you think of them and try to give a fact based answer to the question.

Just checking the stereotype.

Your posts fit the profile of someone who lives behind the Orange Curtain.

You may be right, but do you really think that your hypotheticals make up enough of that statistic to render it insignificant to this debate? Even, say, 30% is, IMO, an appalling number that reflects a deep-rooted problem.

No, she doesn’t, NinetyWt. She’s trolling you around. Just posting crap like that to either get a reaction out of you and others or to keep the record of arguement spinning just so you’ll pay her attention and keep replying to her…for she will always keep replying to people as long as people keep replying to her. I honestly don’t know why people keep bothering talking to Curlcoat or Carol…it is obvious:

  1. They’re not going to listen
  2. They’re not going to stop

Well I did laugh out loud. For reals.

shrugs Believe me or not, it’s no skin off of my ass. Speaking of, you’re a real piece of a shit.

So kids should suffer and die from preventable and treatable conditions because you have a bad view of their parents?

ITT:either a sociopath or a troll.

It’s hard to say.

Two years ago she was on Medicaid. But when asked in this thread about who pays for her meds, and if she has ever been on the public dole, she said, “My family paid for my meds growing up. I paid for them when I was working. I’ve never been on public assistance, unless you count unemployment, but since I paid for it when I was working, I don’t believe that counts.”

So what do you believe? A reasonable guess is that she was telling the truth two years ago, i.e. she was on Medicaid. Because she’s in the exact same situation now (no job, sponging off her parents, etc.), I am assuming her current claim that her parents are paying for her meds is a lie, and that she is currently on Medicaid. Assuming this is true - which is a good assumption - the taxpayers are being defrauded, because her father can easily pay for the meds.

Nope, Guin is the liar here. Why are you so set on defending her?
