ookk so now its time to tell us all if you use that slow running aol (im embarrased to say i do) im guessing not to many of you do but i guess well see
I too, use AOL: it’s on of the reasons I’m so bitter and Hateful.
I have been using aol dialup connection up till 'bout 1.5 months ago, saw other dialup services are slightly faster, but not enough to leave. Now I have DSL, but still use aol, dropped to BYOA plan
My e-mail account is on AOL. I usually post from work which is Netscape. As much flack as I get for using AOL, it suits my needs. I pay 20 bucks a month for unlimited usage & IM with my family (all out of state) several times a week (so much cheaper than calling one, than calling another, than calling the first one back).
I use AOL and I’m not ashamed. I have never had any of the problems I’ve heard about. I’ve had other ISPs and the ones I’ve tried don’t offer the same things as AOL. I don’t need to surf the web for work so it works for me.
wow maryann you mustve got a defective copy :rolleyes:
HEY! Whats so bad about AOL?? Just cuz its slow and boots you offline and its slow and freezes up on you and its slow doesnt mean its bad!! Yall just jealous.
::sigh::
Yeah, I use AOL.
I’m addicted to the X-Files message boards, what can I say?
Count me in, too.
::: hangs head in shame :::
I don’t know why I stay. I just do.
I use AOL as my ISP…log on…Pull up netscape and go. I don’t go into AOL itself. I have no problems at all with AOL…no busy signals…don’t get timed out. And it’s cheaper than our local ISP.
I Use AOL and it does what I want it to do when I want it to do. So far anyway.
Osip
I use AOL and a local ISP every day to sign on. I haven’t noticed any difference in speed–if (for example) SDMB is fast on one it is fast on the other; if it is slow on one, it is slow on the other.
