aol isn't moving

My aol was working just fine. Then my son used the computer for something.
There was this usual warning of spyware, then it went back to the aol news pages.
I closed it.

Now, I try to go on, but when I click on aol it doesn’t give me that screen where it asks for my password, it does nothing.
Anyone know what I can do?

I am at the library and will try to be back tomorrow to se if theres any help.

Reinstall AOL. Just make sure you keep all of your personal stuff.

As long as you don’t uninstall first, you don’t need to worry about that. If reinstalling over the old copy doesn’t work, try uninstalling the old copy and then reinstalling. You might also want to pick up an AOL CD somewhere for the latest version.

Well.
I’ve made many calls.
First I deleted all documents.
Then I called and they shifted me to the ibm which is what the computer is(it was given to me)( cause it has 128mb memory 100%.
They tell me to get a chip rom installed. Have no money for that.
Then I call aol again, and they tell me to uninstall aol.9 cause I had 2 different versions.
The computer wont do this, it does nothing when I press uninstall.
So Im giving up.
I will be on maybe twice a week if that. :frowning:

okay.
I am at home now.
Before the screen of 100% comes up it had said Register.exe came up twice with the little x to click on.
THIS TIME I signed on before I clicked those and now I am online.
How, I do not know.
I am afraid to turn it off now.
I don’t know what I did to make it work, I am so computer-unsavvy.
I just hope it keeps working. :o
