The first couple of model years definitely looked cool. The teenage boy next door liked my '93. For the first five years, at least, they had quality ratings up their with Lexuses for a lot less. As for reliability, my '98 is running great at 104K miles, and my daughter’s boyfriend’s '92 is in reasonably good shape at 170K miles with a lot less maintenance than it should have, and a few too many Chicago winters.
As for safety, some idiot ran a red light and hit my car, when my wife had it, smack in the drivers side door. She was banged up, but was out of the emergency room in a few hours.

(Actually the later ones are not so hot, after GM made Saturn just another crappy GM car. But the first few years were great.)
I’d think a shot of little old ladies in walkers forced to live next to this filth (they could take video of the backyard from a room in your apartment), and up against rich guy in fancy cars would make great TV. Especially if Yu could be induced to call little old ladies racist on camera.
I wonder if it would pay to research Yu’s connections. What stuff does he own? Has he pulled this before? Any crime connections? (Most honest if scumbag property owners aren’t into intimidation.)

As for Saturns being crappy cars, hey, what I don’t know about cars could fill volumes.
