Appetizer ideas for restaurant wanted

Jalapenos halved, stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in the above bacon.

-Deviled eggs, topped with caviar & fresh dill.
-Wrap some brie in puff pastry and bake. Serve with french bread or even pita.
-Someone mentioned caprese salad - caprese kabobs are good.
-Mini quiches

Oh yeah, that sushi stuff!
Good choice!

Perhaps hummus with sesame oil, saffron and something to scoop it up with.

I agree that it’s nice to have a few meatless options on the menu. I am a vegetarian who likes to dine out with my omnivore fiance, and I always check the menu for a restaurant ahead of time to see if there’s anything I can eat before we try a new restaurant. The places we tend to go back to are the places that offer at least a few different options for people like me who don’t eat meat.
You could consider a vegetarian sushi roll…something Indian-inspired like masala dosas, samosas, or pakoras…maybe consider experimenting with seitan to create a vegetarian “meat” dish.

Little chorizo sausages, chopped up and browned mmmmmmmmmm

I love me a good tapas.

At Harris, San Francisco, it takes a while to get seated and have one’s steak cooked. So you get a martini and steak tartare (chopped rare steak served with toast.) I don’t like rare meat but it goes well with the drink and prepares the mouth for the steak.

I also like a plate of Italian appetizers: salted anchovies, olives, dried mushrooms, sauteed fresh mushrooms, all drenched in olive oil with a little lemon.

Rare steak? Tartare is raw steak. (At least everywhere I’ve had it.)

It looks like your place is a little more up-scale, but if I am at a place that has onion rings, I almost always get them as an app.
