Apple watch.....buy insurance???

Asking for a friend. They bought an Apple watch for their husband.
Wondering about reliability or any issues with the watch. Apple automatically gives 1 year and 90 days technical support

For $55 Squaretrade extetends it to 2 years, with a $60 per claim. And extends technical support from 90 says to 2 years.
Your thoughts. Thanks.

Depending on which Apple watch model she bought, Apple Care+ is only a few dollars more. I think she’d probably be happier taking it to the Apple Store rather than dealing with an unknown repair outfit.
