Appropriate to ask people to get vaccinated before spending lots of time with a newborn?

Two things:

  1. There are a lot more people who get offended by being direct than there are people who find indirectness insulting.

  2. By ignoring rather than addressing the problem, you are doing the exact same thing you hate. Heck, you’re being more passive aggressive than they are, since you are doing it out of spite.

I don’t know where you’re getting #2. That’s not what I suggested. I suggested ignoring the spineless lump and their child, not ignoring the spineless lump’s instructions regarding the care of their child. And believe me, there wouldn’t be anything passive about it - I’d tell them why and ask them to call me when their spine grew in.

As for #1 - I don’t really give a rat’s ass.
