Your OP is self defeating.
Ponder the question of whether it is even vaguely likely that a comparatively small place without enormous natural resources could have one of the largest economies in the world while being populated with people who are, on average, significantly brain addled due to drug use.

Arnold is a big supporter of weed. In his younger days he was interviewed; they asked him if he did any drugs. He plainly stated, “no hard drugs, only grass and hash.” I think he was recently quoted as saying, “Marijuana is not a drug, it’s a leaf.” He’s from Europe where they don’t have nearly the same draconian and backwards drug policies that we do.

On the whole I’d say Schwarzenegger’s political stances are decidedly American, and far too right wing for most Europeans, even conservatives. One spliff’s not gonna help that.

To be fair, California is actually quite a large place (it’s bigger than every European country other than Russia, Ukraine, and France) and it does have enormous natural resources. I still don’t think that it could have the world’s eighth largest economy - and it was definitely never third, which is hilarious; when I was a kid growing up there, I always heard it was the seventh largest economy in the world - run by potheads, though.
It would explain the current government, however.
Anyway, I’m a lefty liberal who is pro-legalization, but I don’t partake myself. Never have, not once. Not interested.
I thought Massachusetts was the most liberal state.
Also, if pot were legal I might try it, but since it’s not I don’t.
