It seems that the USA still has a practice of allowing foreign “students” to come, learn to fly airliners, without having a valid visa. What does it take to wake up? A person from an Arab country enters the USA illegally, pays for flight scjhoolin cash, and has no known affiliation with any airline company? Sure! Come right in!
I’m referring to a report that I heard yesterday-it seems that the FBI is looking for a foreing nationalwhoattended a flight school in Georgia…and he may well be a member of a terrorist group.
Shouldn’t flight schools be a bit more careful about those they enroll?
I’d imagine that flight schools are concerned with teaching flight, and are neither qualified nor equipt to poke around the backgrounds of their students and figure out who to ban from classes.
One isolated case isn’t ‘a practice’. And the 9/11 hijackers were in the country legally.
