You could start a thread about that if you wanted, but this one was actually about the use of the phrase ‘Radical Islamic Terrorism’ and whether Democrats are risking defeat for not using the phrase. That’s completely orthogonal to whether or not ‘Democrats admit we’re at war.’ That said, I don’t think the latter will hurt them, because I think most Americans are better than you at distinguishing full-fledged war mobilization from bombing campaigns.
They’d get orders of magnitude more if we committed ground troops. There’s no reason this should be inevitable – the only way it would reasonably be inevitable is if ISIS successfully made a nuclear attack.
