Is the Spin Room his Fortress of Solicitude? Because going in their and giving interviews is what he actually did after the debate. NYT Magazine described it as “The Spin Room, Trump’s Safe Space”.
It looked like it would be a whole evening of him interjecting some derisive word or phrase after EVERY three words she got out. Then, as I recall, Lester Holt stopped him twice within ten seconds (saying ‘it’s her time’ or words to that effect)…and Trump stopped doing the ‘every three words’ bit.
He kept interrupting, but it wasn’t after every three words.
Anyway, I would guess that it lost him some potential undecided voters–particularly women who might have been reminded of blowhard bosses or co-workers or family members who cut them off continually.
On the other hand, I suppose he might have positively affected some other Undecideds who could have seen his performance as being Alpha Male-y…but he looked so tired and twitchy that it would be surprising if many found him impressively dominant. His demeanor was more Terrible Twos than Manly Leader.
It really upset me that people never took Trump serious in the first place ! People were telling me he was running to help Hillary win ! WTF ! I tried to tell people Trump was in this to win and they said not to worry ! Damn ! I am very worried and more than ever ! Trump can’t do no wrong with his supporters and that damn scary !
