say for some odd reason I drop a di from 2 feet . I drop it with the 6 facing up and the three facing me. Wouldn’t it be possible for me to role the same # if I drop it from the same distance (assuming its on a flat surface and i am dropping it onto the same material ex: casino table : and I am In-doors ? so are dice actually fair ?
Why don’t you try it and get back to us?
Nah, I’ll save you the trouble. It is quite impossible for a human being to drop a die exactly the same way over and over again, and even if it were, its motion after it bounces are chaotic and will not repeat themselves.
As fair as a flipped coin.
Add to all that the fact that a casino requires the dice to hit the far wall of the pit, and said wall is covered in little pyramids, and yes, dice are fair.
I don’t think that they just let you hold the dice up and drop them straight onto the table. Even if they did, it wouldn’t work out quite as you had hoped.
Perfectly fair. For the casino. Anyone remember that scene from “Walking Tall”?
Yes I think the original movie was better , I don’t like wrestling stars that I can’t remember a name to and that take stereoids.
I don’t like them as actors either. But I find The Rock’s brutish displays of violence amusing. I like to mock films in which the tired old cliche of a peacemaker forced into violence is used.
eg.
Walking Tall
The Rundown
Glimmer Man (and all Segal movies)
Hitman 2: Silent Assassian
and so on and so on
