Are Exotic Coffess WORTH The Expense?

Ahhh, good old Torrefazione. The building I used to work in had one on the ground floor. Consequently I was always, always jacked up on caffeine. Too bad Starbucks bought them.

Nowadays, when I want the real good stuff, I buy it green from Sweet Maria’s. Remember, if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself…

I have to ask. Has anyone tried the infamous Kopi Luwak coffee?

Yeah, that green bitch got Seattle’s Best Coffee too, but so far they haven’t made them burn the beans yet.

I haven’t tried it personally, but I used to work with a Vietnamese fellow who told me of this type of coffee, years before it became public knowledge. He said it was the best coffee he had ever drank and was one thing that he missed from his home country.

I am curious enough to give it a try, but I’ve read on the Net that very little of what is represented as Kopi Luwak is the real stuff.
