Are Greenlanders full Danish citizens?

I can’t quite divine the proper answer to this from Greenland’s Wikipedia entry. Is a Greenlander, in Danish legality, a full taxpayer and voter in Danish government…like a Hawaiian would be in America? Or are they more like Puerto Ricans, with Danish citizenship but no say on their national issues (though I do know that they have a local “home rule” voice)?

Greenlanders are Danish citizens, but Greenland is an autonomous country within the Danish kingdom. Denmark is responsible for foreign affairs in behalf of Greenland. (CIA Factbook entry)

Best parallel would be the Netherlands Antilles: autonomous but de jure part of Denmark. Or perhaps the non-independent British Commonwealth states like St. Vincent. (It’s probably worth noting that the Faeroe Islands are in the same relationship to Denmark as Greenland is.)

Linkety-link to the official website. Puerto Rico is not a bad analogy.

The CIA World Factbook says that Greenland’s government is:

a parliamentary democracy within a constitutional monarchy

Basically, Greenland runs its own internal affairs. Denmark looks after foreign affairs and military stuff. The Queen of Denmark is the head of state, but she has a high commissioner. But their is a Prime Minister of Greenland (Hans Enoksen) who runs things.

Greenland also gets two seats in the Danish parliament.
