Are one pieces sexy?

I’m a straight male, and I find that pic more ridiculous than anything else.

Photoshop. They edited out the clear “string” that slices your asscrack and runs to the back of the neck.

Maybe it snaps at the crotch.

Or some sort of plug / anchor.

You know where to put the cork

Moving over to IMHO.

Yes…definitely they are! I like one piece more, but that doesn’t mean that I hate my body or I’m less confident with my body. I feel like a bikini is too revealing which doesn’t make me comfortable. One-piece is definitely more sexy than a bikini. I have a collection of one piece trendy swimwear of different brands. Recently I bought a sexy and at the same time cute one piece from Victoria secret. I pair it with a swim skirt form Soybu.

Reported.

Reported? I din’t get you.

Because you joined the board today, and it looks suspiciously like spam when a brand-new person posts commercial links.

But that’s for the mods to decide. If they decide I reported in error, I apologise and welcome to the Dope.

Didn’t Farrah Fawcett put this question to rest years ago.

Fashion trends play a big role in these perceptions.

Bikinis are more “in” these days than one-pieces. If you look back at the late '70s and early '80s, one-pieces were more in. That Farrah Fawcett poster is a case in point.

A woman in 2014 is more likely to wear a bikini if she can “get away with it,” not only because it seems more stylish to her, even unconsciously, but also because bikinis are more common in stores. Those that feel that they need the coverage of a one-piece are likely to reach for one of the more modest styles, because if would have felt comfortable in one of the more revealing one-piece styles, they’d probably choose a bikini. Again, that’s partially because of fashion and partially because of availability. I’m a good case in point. I rather like my skirted one-piece swimsuit, but it’s pretty damn frumpy. I don’t wear a one-piece because “I’m a person, not a pet,” but because I’m fat, and a little frumpiness is the price I pay for something that is modest and reasonably flattering and allows me to walk around without feeling at all self-conscious. If I could rock a bikini, I totally would. (But still a pretty modest bikini, 'cause that’s how I roll.) So many cute styles out there!

To sum up - Bikinis are not necessarily inherently sexier than one-pieces, but given recent fashion trends, it’s certainly understandable that they seem sexier to most people.

If your one-pieces are riding up, they don’t fit properly and/or are not cut correctly for your particular behind. Many women have long torsos relative to their clothing size, so one-pieces are often too short for them. I remember a number of years ago, Lands End made a big campaign out of selling one-pieces in longer lengths to mitigate this. Also, those one-pieces from the 70s and 80s that were cut high on the hip tended to ride up more just because of the way they were cut. Ride-up is not a given for one-pieces.

I’m not sure what you mean by “professional speedo.” Do you mean a tank suit? Like one that one would typically wear to swim laps for exercise? Those are just the opposite of “can’t do much in them.” They stay put no matter what you do! If I could only own one swimsuit, I’d definitely go for a speedo-type tank suit because they’re the most versatile for general active use. Fortunately, I can own more than one!

This is not all to talk you into getting a one-piece, by the way. I’m just trying to suggest that you don’t reject them out of hand if you should happen to run into a situation where one would be a better choice.

I thought of sharing the product in case if any body is intersted. I’m new to this forum. Am i not supposed to put links? If that is the case should i take off the links? I tried doing so…but din’t see the edit option.

You’re fine. Sent you a PM.

Isnt a one-piece harder for the woman to take off when she wants to use the bathroom?

From what I’ve uhm . . . observed . . . they often just pull them to the side. My ex was master of the sideways panty pull.

Yeah, or you can do the sideways panty-pull as Si Amigo noted. Neither solution is ideal.

The tankini was a wonderful invention. The interchangeable top/bottom and ease of using the bathroom of a bikini with the modesty potential of a one-piece.

The French are funny.
Sex is funny.
Comedies are funny..

But French Sex Comedies are not funny.

WhyNot, don’t you feel even the slightest obligation to provide a photograph to support your assertion?
