Ken Kesey, author of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest was sort-of-famous for being an acid-head and throwing acid parties at his home in the redwoods near La Honda, CA. Allegedly, there was a sign at the entrance to his driveway saying “No left turn unstoned.”
