I think maybe they should have 2 Olympics - one where anything goes, and one for purely natural untouched unmedicated humans, say the “free-range” Olympics.
If you allow someone who has had an amputation to run with fancy (springy, I assume?) leg pieces, then why can’t an unamputated human also wear similar springy stilts? In which case it becomes the technolympics, unfortunately.
They don’t ban abnormally tall people from basketball, or people with webbed toes from swimming, but guess what? The tallest person is not the gold medalist in basketball or high jump. Skill, training, and ability still count for something.
