In the context of the rest of your post, which was a personal attack and a rather nasty one, it was the obvious reading. If it never occurred to you, I suggest that you be more careful in composing your posts.
And what about “Morris” as Fenris did in post #50?
It was not intended as an insult, and there is no way it should be read as such.

I did not. His username is a pun already. He has chosen a username that IS a joke. He is the one making a joke of his name.

Not remotely. Noting that his name sounds like sarcasm is not a twist. It is his actual, intended meaning.

No nastiness intended. How can it be nasty to underline his own joke?
Let’s go to the dictionary for the definition of insult. Dictionary.cohttp://dictionary.reference.com/browse/insultm defines it thus:
- to treat or speak to insolently or with contemptuous rudeness; affront.
- to affect as an affront; offend or demean.
The name Czarcasm is already a deliberate double meaning. Underlining the meaning is not insolent, is not contemptuous, is not rude, and would not offend him. Hence no insult.
You’re grasping at straws. The whole post was subject to a warning. Whether you meant a single word as an insult or not is irrelevant to the warning.

Ah-ha. I missed this. Apparently the part that was ghastly-insulting was not addressing Morris as “Mr”.
But you’re the guy who got mad when the word “Woo” was used to describe a crackpot and claimed it was “hate speech” and you’re the guy who didn’t (and maybe doesn’t) get that a moderator saying you’re being a jerk isn’t an insult. So…we clearly share different ideas of what insults are.
Which would also explain why you’re having trouble with Sarcasm =! Czarcasm.
This is getting close to what Peter Morris did – attack the poster and not the post. That’s not allowed in About This Message Board and you shouldn’t be doing this.
Interrogating someone on their views is also not really what About This Message Board is all about, or shouldn’t be, anyway.
It’s kind of obvious, really.
The thread was about a post that **Czarcasm **made. Most people, including moderators, saw it as having a nasty meaning, but Czarcasm was trying to claim a totally different and innocent one.
My message pointed to his posting history simply as evidence that the nasty interpretation is the correct one.
And part of that was pointing to his username. His posts frequently have a sarcastic tone. His chosen username reflects his posting style. The fact that his name is a pun on Sarcasm, that provides a big clue to his meaning in the post under discussion.
Clear?
On the contrary, it is a long way beyond what I did.
I made no attack on Czarcasm, I simply made a factual comment about his posting history that was directly relevant to the matter being discussed. It was not an attack at all.
Fenris, however, hates me because I express contempt for one of his idols. It’s actually been a few years since his last attack, but he still is harbouring a grudge. Its a nasty little attack, that has nothing to do with the matter.
So you throw in this interpretation of current events so that curious readers will go search out what you are talking about–thus bringing the dormant conflict back to the fore for further replay.

I would suggest that EVERYONE let this particular claim simply wither for lack of attention rather than reviving a long-dead feud.
