A stuffed definition* is a legal definition that includes “substanative law” in addition to the definition. This makes the law “hidden” from someone who is reading a legal code, ordinance, etc.
Question: Are the laws included in stuffed definitions legally binding? If one were to get burned by a stuffed definition, could one appeal to the judge to side in one’s favor because the law was hidden or definition stuffed or whatever?
