On the one hand I’d like the 2nd amendment touched up with clarifying wording that said “This does not give rights for military weapons to self-proclaimed militias.”
But on the other hand I’m afraid that the religious right would want to establish a religion, or allow each state to do so.
Of course the main constitution as a whole is subject to revision, and has been amended many dozen times. And individual amendments have been enacted only to be later rescinded or gutted.
But it seems those first 10 are more sacred than either the preceding whole or the following amendments.
Would a challenge to one of those ten be a threat to our entire constitution?
