It ticks me off that the language relating to end of life directives has apparently been deleted entirely due to unfounded or falsely motivated objections, including any reference to “death with dignity”, which we HAVE here in Oregon. (repeatedly voted for despite repeated attempts at repeal, and with ample safeguards in place) :rolleyes:
Fact is, under the current system, people die every day for lack of basic or advanced health care…we ration it already, just based on income/coverage. Those who have the income to purchase it out of pocket or through private insurance don’t have to worry this legislation will deprive them of any of their options. It only provides options to those who CAN’T afford anything else.
