I have a bluetooth earbud that is forever getting lost. Is there an app that can track the thing, so that I can find it easier?
Thanks in Advance

Well, my Apple Watch has an app that can find my iPhone no matter where it is, but my phone has GPS so there’s that. There SHOULD be an app that can do that, but it doesn’t mean there is.
You’d need to have your Bluetooth devices to have a GPS or for there to be some sort of directional antenna in your phone. I don’t think the first part is common, I have no idea about the second part.
Class 2 Bluetooth has a range of about 10 meters, so your phone may not be in range depending on the size of your house.
Look for bluetooth finder apps – I was in the same boat as you the other day, downloaded a few until I found one that worked. It tracks the strength if the signal (not very accurately I might add) but it works just well enough to triangulate where your ear bud is.
Try your earbuds manufacturer. They may know of a way.
I have Tarah Pro wireless headphones and just last week they “reminded” me to set up the “find my headphones” option on their app.
It doesn’t give real-time tracking since the headphones don’t broadcast a signal. All it does is tell you the last general place your phone was connected to them.
I actually used it two days ago. I thought I’d left them in my gym after a workout and it turned out they were last in connected in my bedroom, so I hunted them down and found them on the floor.
It basically works the same way as Tile Trackers. I have those on my keys. Tiles don’t triangulate but when in bluetooth range you can activate a signal to make them chirp.
Thanks Everyone!
Try these.
You need to attach a small device (they come in various sizes) to the item you want to keep a track of and the smallest size is like a sticker, but that may still be too big for earbuds. Unless you maybe stick it on to the case.
If you have an android phone, this is the one I use.
This is really only good at telling you if you left your earbuds at the gym, or if they’re home. Not really pinpoint accuracy.
Tile has a sticker version that may help. I got a different Tile for my husband’s wallet and it has been quite the lifesaver.
