Are there any foods that increase matabolism?

I have quit smoking (again) and need to prevent the obligatory 20 lb weight gain. I am already 20 lbs over my ideal weight. I am starting an exercise routine and already have a healthy diet.
I’ve heard before that some foods (allegedly) increase your metabolic rate a little right after ingesting them. The reason I’m looking into this is I know smoking cranks up the metabolism so stopping is going to slow things down.
When I was 27 I quit smoking for 4 years and in the first two months I gained 26 lbs. I exercised like a fiend and lost 30 lbs over a 9 month period.
Now that I’m 33 I’m sure that the weight loss is going to be a little slower.

To get to the point, are there any foods I can eat that will give my metabolism a little boost? I refuse to take any of those supposed “fat burning” drugs touted on t.v. If I can’t do it naturally and in a healthy fashion then I’m not doing it.
