One thing I’ve done with my daughter over the years is to go through my change and try to find interesting specimens. I’m certainly not anything like a collector.
I saw an add for an app where you could use the camera and identify coins and it would give an approximate value or at least a range of value. (I’m aware grade is extremely important.) This app appeared to be free but was actually pretty expensive to activate any useful feature. I did not pay because I was uncertain that it worked as advertised and it looked to be from a possibility shady Chinese company.
Are there any reputable coin apps on the market. It doesn’t have to be free but I want it to be reasonable.
