If Pandora has it, then it’s certainly being licenced by the publisher so it’s probably just a matter of finding which services have it available. You could check Rhapsody and Yahoo Music. Rhapsody seems to have a fair amount of non-US music available.
Somewhere on the net there is a site that compares the catalogs of many music sites. I don’t have it bookmarked, but I’ll see if I can find it.
eMusic has two albums by Leaves’ Eyes, but neither of them has the song that you’re looking for. I checked Amazon, and it appears that “Senses Capture” was released as an extra track on a single. The single was “Elegy” from their album Vinland Saga.
I use eMusic for most of my downloads. $9.99 gets you 40 downloads a month there, and they have a two-week free trial as well. I sometimes have problems finding more well-known bands, but I’m happy with the service overall.
Go down to the bottom of your iTunes interface and browse other countries’ stores. See if you can’t find a Doper to pick up an appropriate iTunes card for you, pick a random address somewhere in that country to register it with, point the account at your email address, and go.
iTunes has different stores in different countries. Some of my friends do this compulsively for JPop.
Nevermind, the iTunes stores in question don’t seem to have it.
It is available on eBay (on various CDs, EP and otherwise) for about $10 shipped, though. $15-20 for some editions of Vinland Saga with it as a bonus track. Then you can rip it yourself and not have to worry about any of the lock-in formats.
Thanks for the note and thanks for the email. I own Vinland Saga, but not the special version with the bonus tracks.
Not sure if it is worth it to buy whole album again for one bonus song.
Is there anyone to just force Pandora to play your favorite track, or must I sit through many songs just to hear one? By the way, this all started when I chose Evanescence as my song style.
