My son, who is in second grade, has a teacher this year who is new. Note: I am literally an English teacher, so I am sympathetic to any teacher.
One thing she has clearly been doing is buying lessons/materials off TeachersPayTeachers, a web site I love. However, she just prints things off and throws them at the kids and parents without adapting them or adding any help. Some things are way above what kids can do on their own.
My son has to make a book trailer. We have the book picked out(Treasure Hunters), but I do not want to go full-on and shoot video and edit it. I was hoping for a Powtoons type site that has templates.
I’d like to type in info., add pictures and music, and have it produce a trailer more or less in a template style.
Note: Yes, my son will be doing the work, but I will be helping him along. We are still working on basic computer skills. He’s 8 and pretty good, but not as advanced as some kids who are on computers all the time.
