Correct. I read somewhere that was illegal, but my memory fails me at times.
For close to half my life now, I’ve refused to wear any black clothes, garments or accessories. It got too popular when I was younger, and projects a sort of “ooh, I’m edgy and weird, just like 95% of the current population” vibe.
I prefer brighter colors and earth tones, and that goes for interior decorations as well. The current beige-gray trend disturbs me to no end. So I like busy patterns and a variety of colors in my home.
None of these are moral stances. I might look down on the taste of a Modern Farmhouse “neutral”-obsessed housewife, but I don’t think she’s a worse person because of it. Nevertheless, she’s a type of person I don’t want to be.
