It seems that English isn’t his first language - although I thought Norwegians typically studied it from an early age.
ETA: OP confirmed just as I posted.

We’re also drunk from an early age. Sometimes the two cancel each other out.
Yeah and artists are usually trained in the academic language called “astral-wanking”. I sin***celery ***apologize.
Edit: Wow I spelled my bad joke wrong.
Anyway:
The news is the news. The world is the world. The two overlap only very approximately.
And your life is your life. If you think it sucks: Good. That’s the first step. If you don’t take any steps to improve it, though, that’s your own damned fault. Take responsibility for that, too.
If a voice in your head is telling you that you need to stop being an art student and find a career that will pay your bills, then maybe you should listen to it. Your future self, a decade or so from now, may well thank you for it.
Or follow your dreams. Whatever. I don’t really care.
It’s not the spelling. You haven’t done a good job at all explaining what you are asking. Are we on the right track? The right track FOR WHAT?
I need the joke explained to me.
This is what drunk college students wanna talk about these days?
Clearly, we’re doomed!
This is what drunk college students wanna talk about these days? (We had more passionate and informed discussions jogging to the Cinnabon!)
Clearly, we’re doomed!
What time is it in Norway? Must be close to 2AM, nei? Pass the akevitt!
I have my battles, but I have a good life. I do whatever I can for people I care about, and I know those people would do the same. But I could probably do a lot more. I’m trying locally, and I do help in certain different ways, even with direct monetary support, but is it enough? I’m just asking for opinions, or what some dopers would call assurances.
klokka er ti over halv tre!
Gå til sengs. Skal du ikke opp i morra?
I have to give credit where its due:
Do you have Any Idea how hard it is to draw students fucking in charcoal!?
Bork! Bork! Bork!
I did not mean to divert this into a discussion in Norsk. Probably should get back to English.
I didn’t even know it was a genre! Ignorance fought!
OP, if you’d said English wasn’t your first language from the start instead of the “not taking responsibility” crap, people would be much more forgiving. Instead you came off like an arrogant idiot, and people can’t get past it to answer your question. Whatever it is.
Why? It looks like you’re following along wonderfully. ![]()
I do speak a little, and I could get what you guys were talking about, having spent some wonderful time in Norway. You might want to be aware that there is actually a rule about posting in English on this MB. The mods are usually OK with a few words here and there, but not multiple posts.
