Hi! I’m a student, with few means, but I am gonna be a bit over 0 money-wise, when I finish my studies. I won’t have property, few job offers, and if I decide to keep what I will have, I will probably use it unwisely.
Now, I was under the impression that the world was supposed to progress. I’ve been watching some documentaries lately. A lot of people in the world seem to be very opposed to that. We live in a rich world. We don’t need *that *much. As long as you can do whatever the fuck you want to do, as long as it doesn’t harm anyone or is to the detriment of others in *ANY *way, rehabilitating people if possible and try to do that without killing someone, everyone who wanted to be fine would be, and the people that doesn’t wanna have fun, can choose not to.
I take no responsibility for spelling or other mistakes. I don’t really care. All I want is to get an answer; Are we on the right track, or are we loosing it? Are you unsure? Please share.
There is no law that says “we are supposed to progress”. But if you mean “we”, as in the global community, I don’t think you will find another time in the history of civilization that people have done as well as they are doing now, as a whole. What time period did you have in mind that you thought was better?
BTW, spelling and grammar aside, it’s not really clear what you’re getting at. I’m guessing I have it right, but I’m not 100% sure.
You are free to go ahead and have fun! It’s probably ripe for mocking! I’m not better at writing at a better hour, so I’m not gonna excuse myself for being drunk. I apologize for being bad at writing.
You’re not one of us; none of us here are ANYTHING LIKE YOU, sugarplump.
YOU may be losing it & if you fail out by New Years, no one here will care more than you say you do. As for us, after this thread, I’m pretty sure we’ll care less.
So nice when low-class frat houses make their drunk pledges post online. :dubious:
I have arguments both for and against. I believe the agreement between USA and Iran is very good. I also believe a progression with regards to gay rights in USA is good. But then again, I’m a student in the dicipline of the least sought after employee, much because of discipline and intelligence. I’m a fucking art student, living on student loans in northern europe, but even I’m feeling it. I can’t live in Norway, because housing is too expensive and I’m not egliable for benefits. I’ve had a job since I was eleven, I’ve paid taxes since I was thirteen because I earned too much, and I can’t get jobs or benefits. My only option is my only actual inspirator in this world, art, because of student loanss. Which is useless. I’m really lucky, I have some money from inheritance and I come from a nice place. I am seriously thinking about donating what I have.
I’m not making fun of your writing. I dont spelt gud myself, most of the time. But I take full responsibility for every single typo and brain fart in my posting history. It was the combination of the mistakes and your initial refusal to be held accountable for them that was the source of (my half-cocked attempt at) comedy.
Who or what do you hold responsible for your spelling (or other mistakes) anyway? Is society to blame? Are you a poor and faultless victim of circumstance? Are the cruel twists of fate forcing you to type on a cell phone, wearing mittens?
That is, unless your apology signals a shift to a more mature attitude on your part. If so, I applaud it. Just don’t go overboard in the other direction into depression and self-loathing. You should love and accept yourself.
Of course I take full responsibility for brain-farts, misinformation and fact against whatever I say.
I’m just saying, feel free to make fun of me for spelling, I’m not gonna object to that. I’m not gonna defend myself, me having english as a second language.
