Who knew there was so much money in frogs?
I’m the master of my domain.
In all seriousness, we might not be able to enact all these drastic and specific changes, but we are still very good at shaping the world around us. For an example where this is unintentional, I always enjoy seeing satellite photos of the Earth at night. All those lights, all a mere by-product of our existence.
But yeah, we could nuke mountains flat, nuke new rivers, turn the Sahara to glass. There’s a lot you can do with unrestrained nuclear capabilities. Building things, like an island, would be much harder, but with the resources of the world at your disposal it wouldn’t be too hard, I reckon.
I looked but couldn’t find the time travelling vampires section, do you have a link please?
It got reverted, of course, but here’s the old version of the article.
Well, I think everyone might be underestimating our powers a little. Based on the absurdity of the tasks at hand, I think we have to look at it under more absurd condidtions. What would possibly cause us to want to fill the Grand Canyon, vacuum the Sahara, etc? How about God materializing and ordering all of mankind to achieve these tasks, and those that don’t help are tortured mercilessly until they comply. Could a team of 4 billion accomplish these tasks in 5 years time apiece? I don’t know, but I do think it’s hasty to say with any certainty that it couldn’t be done.
