I would have no problem with it, but I can’t imagine male porn stars have it any easier. They get paid less, actually have to perform, and if they carve out long careers they are probably more likely to end up in $50 gang bangs and bukkake shoots than be one of the handful of guys who get paid a grand a scene and work 20 days a month. The only time I ever hear about a male porn star after he’s done is when he commits suicide, dies of a drug overdose, moves into his mom’s basement, someone sees him working as bouncer somewhere, someone tries to raise money for some medical treatment, etc. I have read some blogs and things by guys who are trying more regular careers (usually guys who actually had college degrees and jobs before they got in), and they always fear being recognized and losing their jobs. In fact, it seems like all kinds of legendary guys who did thousands of movies and owned their own lines and studios and stuff endup with pretty meager retirements and existences, probably comparable to someone who works 40 years as a janitor or something. It probably helps that they are less visible/recognizable than the contract star women. But it’s not like all these women who make 6 figures and spend it all on shoes and purses end up jumping off a bridge in 6 months, while all the guys shooting up their dicks are going on to be elected to the U.S. Senate.
We had a family friend who was a porn star. She’d been over to the house multiple times, but never babysat.
