Not any more. I’ve managed to get myself down to 175lbs (I’m 6’1") and I’m pretty happy with that. Any other changes I try to make from here will be about building muscle and improving cardio strength.
6’, 78 kg. Maybe not everweight for my height, but this is the heaviest I’ve ever been. I just bought a pair of jeans yesterday with a 36" waist - I’ve been wearing 34" for the past 10 years. I’m far from fat, but I do look bulky and there is significant flabbage around my waist.
New year, new country, new job. I intend on fitting into my 34" again.
I am a bit. 25 year old man who, at his lowest weight was 145-150 at my current height (5’9")… I’d love to be 160, but have been at 175 for the past few years, and in the last year I seem to have jumped up to 185-190. No one I know thinks I look that overweight, but I’ve noticed the change in clothing size and general physical health. So, not overweight in a super-serious way, but have definitely been much healthier.
I’m 5’10", and at the moment, 154 lbs. I try to stay in the mid-to-high 140s, and usually do a pretty good job of it, but, y’know, the holidays and all. And that Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale…Og have mercy.
I don’t expect any sympathy, but at least 5 lbs have to come off for me to be satisfied. I don’t know if it’s a peculiarity of my physiology or what, but any extra weight goes straight to my gut, and ONLY my gut, so 5 extra pounds on an otherwise skinny body is VERY evident.
Well, my BMI is 25, so I guess I would be, just barely. I think most people would look at me and say “average,” however. Which is good for most people, but not good for me - I definitely need to lose 15 pounds. And I started on it last week, but got sidetracked this week. Back on the horse again next week.
