I’m not saying that the church should have mentioned every single religion, cult, and sect. I’m saying the exact opposite. If the pastor/priest/minister is teaching the meaning of the Ten Commandments, then he/she should explain that this applies to every single religion that worships some god other than Yahweh. Even the most casual observer should be able to make the leap of logic from there.
“If you do not believe as I/we believe, you’re not headed for the same glorious afterlife that I’m headed for” is a tenet of most Western religions, and all evangelical religions. Whether that destination is purgatory, hell, “true death,” or whatever is what varies.
If I say “everyone who eats a four-legged animal is bad,” do I specifically have to mention every single four-legged animal, or would it just be assumed that I’ve just said people who eat goats are bad?

And what about those that just want to make sweet, sweaty… uh, what were we talking about, again?

If you think this is bad now just wait until judgement day.
There will be much shame for being a Christian.
All because you would not believe ALL that the prophets have spoken Luke 24:25.
